This update is due to the fact that Apple is approaching a different MacBook Pro than 2016 and focuses on features that make one of the best Macs more attractive to users of daily life by further simplifying the design. Maybe, that's the reason why Apple has eliminated all ports, not Thunderbolt 3. The MacBook Pro is definitely a case of "if it's not broken, don't fix it," but there are many old apple users who were exiled by the latest Apple design philosophy.
However, the MacBook Pro 2018 has a large internal increase, which now shakes up the eighth generation Coffee Lake processor and some of the fastest SSDs that have ever existed, offering unprecedented speed. Apple has also improved its screen with True Tone technology, resolved problems related to the Butterfly keyboard, or some of them, while maintaining battery charge levels in the 2017 model.
However, things can change for the 2019 MacBook Pro. Ming Chi Kuo, a well-known analyst from Apple, has produced several leaks that indicate that Apple will launch a 169-inch MacBook Pro, with a "completely new" design. We don't know whether this is true or not, but we hope Apple offers a new MacBook Pro that is compatible with its lineage.
