Microsoft patents new Xbox Controller with Realistic Haptic Braille Output

Microsoft is trying to activate less privileged players to play in the most comfortable way possible. What starts with the customizable adaptive Xbox controller is set to continue with the new device that displays braille.

Microsoft patented a new technology in October 2018, but the documents related to the design were only published on May 2.

The design shows a standard Xbox One keyboard with a braille display on the back and six side palettes. Braille displays can display text or audio in Braille. This can be used to read tutorials, menus or live discussions directly in applications such as Twitch.

The Microsoft patents also state that the device will be able to recognize the user's voice commands and convert them to Braille.

Microsoft patents often exist, there is even one for the new Xbox Elite controller, but they do not always see the versions. I hope the controller is as important as this one will come into existence.
