Rockstar Games has acquired Dhruva Interactive from a troubled publisher, Starbreeze.

Acquired with $ 7.9 million, Rockstar and Dhruva are expected to complete their agreement in the first half of this year. Dhruva, an Indian art production studio, will work with Rockstar India, which was founded in 2016.

Dhruva Interactive has more than 320 employees. With the background of Quantum Break's work, Halo 5, Forza Horizon 3 and Sea of Thieves, they form a strong artistic team for all video games.

The company rejoined in March 1997 and was acquired by Starbreeze in 2016. The purchase of 91.82% of Starbreeze in Rockstar is an important benefit for videogame developers worldwide.

With Red Dead Redemption 2 finally released, this is pretty good, this could be Rockstar's first step towards a new title. Of course, like Red Dead, we shouldn't expect a new Rockstar game for a long time.
