Go to bat is the name of a batswingingbased party game played with a baseball bat and plastic cup. The object of the game is to hit the cup with the bat as the cup is tossed by other players with the intent to try to catch the plastic cup before it lands on the ground. Players try to hit the cup out of the air with a baseball bat or other batlike objects such as a broomstick. This is a form of recreational drinking game commonly played at backyard barbecues or social gatherings. The game is simple but it can get very challenging.
