AirDrop is an integrated service in macOS that enables you to share files and photos with other Apple devices and computers in a quick and easy way. When you set up AirDrop you can choose whether to be discoverable to everyone your contacts or people you choose. When a transfer is initiated you will receive a notification that the sender has requested to share an item with you and you can choose whether to accept the request or decline it.
