Beaches, sunshine, celebrities with questionable fashion choices (it's all part of the charm), but there's one tiny hurdle newcomers sometimes face: that whole ID situation. If you're a U.S. citizen or a lucky charm holder (otherwise known as a green card holder), then fret no more. You can waltz right into the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles, not a dance competition...although the lines might make you think otherwise) and snag a standard California ID card.
