You might be moseyin' on over to Texas from time to time, but have you ever considered how to say "I'm from Texas" in Spanish? Well, if you're fixin' to impress the locals with your bilingual skills, you've come to the right place, sugar!
Now, some folks might tell you the proper way to say it is "Soy de Tejas" (Soy = I am, de = from, Tejas = Texas). And there ain't nothin' wrong with that. It's perfectly cromulent.

These might not be the most grammatically correct sentences, but they sure get the point across, right? You're a friendly Texan, and you're proud to be from the land of wide-open spaces and even bigger personalities.
