Yes, folks, we did have a brush with a hurricane last year. Hurricane Hilary, all bluster and fury, roared up the Pacific coast, threatening to turn California into a giant wind-whipped chia pudding. The National Hurricane Center even issued its first-ever tropical storm watch for parts of southern California.
Hollywood on Edge: Was This the End of Glamour?
Tinseltown was on edge. Would the Hollywood sign finally succumb to tropical winds? Would celebrities be reduced to drying their own hair? The suspense was unbearable!
