Hold on to your Stetsons, space fans! Are you itching to witness a celestial dance unfold in the heavens, but wondering if you can catch it from the comfort (or maybe the heat, depending on the season) of Houston? Let's see if we can snag a glimpse of an eclipse together.
Houston: Eclipse Hotspot, or Not Quite?
The truth is, skywatching in Houston can be pretty darn amazing, but seeing a total eclipse might require a bit of a road trip. The last total solar eclipse in April skirted right around Houston, but didn't quite give the city the full wow-factor of totality.
Don't Fret, Space Cowboy!
Even though Houston might not be in the exact path of totality for every eclipse, there's still plenty to enjoy! You can catch a partial eclipse where the sun appears to be taking a bite out of the moon. And hey, who knows?
