Howdy Partner! How Many Gal-Rangers Are Wranglin' in Texas?
Yeehaw! Today we're moseyin' on over to a topic that's more mysterious than a tumbleweed in a dust storm: the number of female Texas Rangers.
We all know about the Lone Ranger, that masked man ridin' solo into the sunset. But what about the Lone Rangerette? Or maybe a whole posse of mighty gals upholdin' justice in Texas?
Hold Your Horses! A Twist in the Tale
Well, partner, here's where things get a little more complex than a rattlesnake in a boot. The Texas Ranger Division, bless their hearts, keeps the exact number of female Rangers under wraps. Top secret, you might say.
Don't Fret! We Got You Covered (Probably)
But hold on to your ten-gallon hat! That doesn't mean there aren't some fantastic females out there wearin' the Texas Ranger badge. In fact, there have been some history-makin' developments recently. In 2023, Wende Wakeman became the first-ever female Texas Ranger Major. That's right, a woman blazin' the trails for others to follow!
Now, how many other gal-Rangers are ridin' alongside her? Our best guess (based on some unofficial reckonin') is that there could be around 10 to 20 heroines out there.
Remember, Justice Has No Gender
The important thing to remember is this: justice don't care if you're wearin' a skirt or chaps. Those Texas Rangers, female or male, are there to get the job done. So, if you ever see a Ranger badge, you can bet there's a brave soul ready to uphold the law, no matter what they're wearin' under it.
