Ditka, Ditka... Uh oh, How Many Bears Coaches Have There Been Anyway?
Let's be honest, Chicago Bears fans: loyalty is our middle name. We bleed navy and orange, sit through rain and shine (mostly wind...), and hold onto hope with the best of them. But even the most die-hard supporter might raise an eyebrow at this next fact:
The Chicago Bears have cycled through a whopping 17 head coaches in their long and storied history.
That's right, 17! That's more coaches than some folks have had haircuts (cue dramatic music).
Now, some folks might say "hey, that's a lot of coaches for one team!" Well, to those folks I say... have you met the McCaskey family? (Just a little joke, Bears fans... mostly.)
Here's the thing, though: 17 coaches might seem like a lot, but it also means a lot of history, a lot of passionate leaders, and a lot of... well, interesting moments to say the least.

But hey, here's to hoping that Matt Eberflus, our current leader, can be the one to finally bring home the Lombardi Trophy! Right? ... Right? We may have had our fair share of coaching musical chairs, but one thing's for sure: Chicago Bears fans are always hopeful. And that, my friends, is what makes being a fan so darn fun.
