You've typed in every combination you can think of – birthdays, anniversaries, even that time you aced that expert level on Candy Crush (respect). But alas, nothing. Fear not, fellow iPad enthusiast! There are ways to reclaim your digital dominion, and without needing your iPhone as a magic key (because seriously, who even remembers their iPhone passcode these days?).
Hold on, Can't I Just Use Siri Like in the Movies?

Unless you're a Hollywood hacker with questionable morals, Siri won't be much help here. She's all about keeping your data safe, not becoming an accomplice to a digital break-in (even if it is your own iPad).
Alright, Alright, What Can I Actually Do?
There are two main options, depending on how much you value your current iPad data (and how good your memory is):
The Diplomatic Approach (with Data Backup): This involves a trusty computer and a little Apple magic. If you have a recent backup of your iPad, you can use iTunes or Finder to restore it to factory settings, effectively wiping the slate clean (including the passcode). Don't worry, you can then restore your data from that backup, and voila! iPad access regained.
The Nuclear Option (Data Wipeout): Let's face it, sometimes you gotta go scorched earth. If you don't have a backup, or you just fancy a fresh start, you can use the same computer method to erase your iPad completely.
