Hold onto your ten-gallon hats, folks, because Texas Tech football is about to kick off an epic season! That's right, we're trading in the off-season tumbleweeds for touchdowns and tailgates. But who are the Red Raiders wranglin' on the field this year? Well, saddle up 'cause we're about to take a victory lap through the schedule.
August & September: The Red Raiders Stampede into Action
- Season Opener: Abilene Christian Wildcats vs. Texas Tech Red Raiders (August 31st) - First up, it's a Texas throwdown! We're welcoming the Abilene Christian Wildcats to Jones AT&T Stadium for a battle that's sure to be hotter than a habanero pepper on a Texas summer day.
- Road Trip! Texas Tech Red Raiders at Washington State Cougars (September 7th) - Gettin' our boots dusty with our first away game against the Washington State Cougars. Pack your shades and your "wreck 'em Tech" spirit, because we're gonna paint Pullman, Washington, red and black!
- Back in the Saddle: Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. North Texas Mean Green (September 14th) - We're back at Jones AT&T Stadium to take on the North Texas Mean Green. Hopefully, the only green things we see are the dollar bills flying through the air after a Red Raider touchdown!
September's Showdowns Keep the Excitement Rolling
The season keeps movin' and groovin' throughout September with some key matchups:
- Arizona State Sun Devils mosey on down to Lubbock (September 21st)
- The Cincinnati Bearcats come to town (September 28th)
October: Can You Feel the Postseason Buzz?
- Hitting the road again: Texas Tech Red Raiders at Arizona Wildcats (October 5th) - We'll be braving the desert heat for a fiery matchup against the Arizona Wildcats. Hydration is key, folks, but don't forget your Red Raider pride!
