Chicago PD Season Finale: A Cliffhanger That Left Us Wanting More (And Popcorn)
So, Chicago PD fans, did the season finale leave you feeling like you’d just been tasered? Because that’s exactly how I felt. I mean, I knew going in that it was going to be a rollercoaster, but this was more like a freefall without a parachute.
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
Let’s break this down, shall we? First off, the good: the plot was intense. I was on the edge of my seat, practically chewing my nails down to the nubs. The twists and turns were like a never-ending maze that kept me guessing. And can we talk about that cliffhanger? It was like the writers said, “Hey, let’s just mess with everyone for a bit.”
Now, the bad: poor Adam Ruzek. Dude got shot. I’m still not over it. I mean, seriously, can’t we have one season without someone getting shot? It’s starting to feel like a recurring theme. And don’t even get me started on the emotional rollercoaster we were put through. My heart can’t handle this kind of stress.
And finally, the ugly: the wait for the next season. It’s going to be a long, cold winter without our favorite Chicago cops. I’m already planning my therapy sessions.
What Happens Now?
So, what does this all mean for next season? Are we going to get a Ruzek recovery storyline? Will Voight finally get his comeuppance? And most importantly, will we ever get to see Burgess and Ruzek find happiness? The possibilities are endless, and I, for one, cannot wait to see where this show takes us next.
Until then, I’ll be rewatching old episodes, analyzing every frame for clues, and trying to come up with my own theories. So, hit me up with your thoughts and predictions. Let’s discuss!
