Who's Still Standing in Chicago Fire Season 12? A Dramatic Burn
Chicago Fire season 12 was a rollercoaster ride filled with more twists and turns than a firehose. If you thought your life was dramatic, just wait until you hear about these firefighters!
The Old Guard Holds Strong
Let's start with the familiar faces. Chief Wallace Boden, played by the ever-stoic Eamonn Walker, was there to provide moral support and dad-like wisdom. We can't imagine Chicago Fire without him. Unless he retires and opens a donut shop. Now that would be a twist.
Then there's the dynamic duo of Lieutenant Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Lieutenant Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo), who, despite some rocky patches, continued to be the power couple of Firehouse 51. Their love story is like a fire – intense, passionate, and occasionally out of control.
Of course, we can't forget the rest of the crew. Herrmann (David Eigenberg) was still cracking jokes, Mouch (Christian Stolte) was still being the wise old owl, and Cruz (Joe Minoso) was still... well, being Cruz.
New Faces, New Fires
Season 12 also introduced some fresh faces to the Firehouse 51 family. Blake Gallo (Alberto Rosende) was there to add some youthful energy, while Darren Ritter (Daniel Kyri) brought a fresh perspective. We're still not sure if Ritter's obsession with Severide is a bromance or something more... questionable.
Some Notable Departures
But let's be real, no season of Chicago Fire is complete without some heart-wrenching goodbyes. We’re still mourning the loss of Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer). Her departure left a gaping hole in Ambulance 61. We're still holding out hope for a surprise return, maybe as a ghost or something.
What's Next?
As season 12 wrapped up, we were left with more questions than answers. Will Severide and Kidd finally tie the knot? Can Herrmann ever resist a good pie-eating contest? And most importantly, will we ever get a spin-off about Mouch's life as a professional bowler? Only time will tell.
