Will Halstead's Love Life: A Casualty of the ER?

Let's talk about Will Halstead, the resident heartthrob (or heartbreaker, depending on your point of view) of Chicago Med. The man can stitch up a wound like nobody's business, but when it comes to relationships, he's about as steady as a jellyfish in a hurricane.

The Natalie Manning Saga

We can’t talk about Will's love life without mentioning Natalie Manning. Their on-again, off-again relationship was like a medical drama in its own right. One minute they were inseparable, the next they were throwing accusations like scalpels. You’d think working in a high-stress environment like the ED would bring people closer, but apparently, it just gave them more ammunition for their fights.

The Other Women (and Man)

Natalie wasn’t the only one to capture Will’s heart (or at least a temporary part of it). There was Sabeena Virani, the cardiologist who seemed to be the perfect match for Will. But alas, their relationship was cut short, probably because the writers realized that a perfect match is about as exciting as watching paint dry.

And let’s not forget about Dr. Ethan Choi. Yes, you read that right. For a brief, confusing moment, there was some potential Will/Ethan chemistry. It was like the writers were trying to see if they could bend the laws of nature. Thankfully, that ship sailed faster than a patient with a gunshot wound.

So, Where Does Will Stand Now?

As of the show's ending, Will seems to be flying solo. Which is probably for the best. Maybe he needs to focus on saving lives instead of trying to save his love life. After all, the heart wants what the heart wants, but sometimes the heart needs a defibrillator.
