There are a number of different ways to 3d animate on an ipad but the most popular way is to use the 3d modeling and animation app called Blender. Blender is free and open source and it allows users to create and edit 3d models animate 3d characters and render their 3d animations. To animate on ipad simply download and install Blender from the app store then open the app and select the "3D Animation" option from the menu. You will be able to create and edit your own 3d animations using the builtin tools in Blender.
