Alright, One Chicago fans, let's talk turkey, or rather, let’s talk about when we’re going to see our favorite firefighters, cops, and medics back in action. Because honestly, I'm starting to think about trading in my binge-watching sweatpants for firefighting gear.
The Drought is Real
I know, I know. We’ve been through this before. The endless summer of reruns. The constant refreshing of social media for any crumb of information. It's like waiting for your pizza order but it’s been in the oven since the dinosaurs. But hey, at least we’ve got each other, right? We’re in this together.

Others claim it’s a secret plot to increase the suspense. And then there’s the theory that they’re all secretly living their best lives in Hawaii, sipping Mai Tais and forgetting about us.
Whatever the reason, it’s time to step up our game. We need to start a petition, or maybe a flash mob outside the NBC studios. Or, we could just collectively hold our breath until they cave and give us a date.

I've tried to channel my inner Dawson and come up with some potential return dates. But with every passing day, my calculations become less accurate than a Chicago weather forecast. So, let's just agree to be patient (yeah, right) and hope that fall brings with it not only cooler temperatures but also new episodes of our beloved shows.
