Who's Who in the Windy City: Chicago PD Season 11
So, you're wondering who exactly is brave (or foolish) enough to don a badge and patrol the mean streets of Chicago? Well, buckle up, buttercup, because we're about to dive into the cast of Chicago PD Season 11. Let's see if we can keep this from turning into a total snoozefest.
The Old Guard: They're Still Here (Thankfully)
First up, we have the OG's of the Intelligence Unit. You know, the ones who've seen it all, done it all, and are still somehow standing. There’s Jason Beghe as the ever-so-charming (read: morally questionable) Sergeant Hank Voight. Let's face it, the show would be a whole lot less interesting without him. Then there's Tracy Spiridakos as Detective Hailey Upton, who’s basically Voight’s mini-me, but with better hair. And of course, we can't forget Marina Squerciati as Officer Kim Burgess, who's like the mom of the group, but with a badge.
The New Kids on the Block (Kinda)
Now, let’s talk about the newbies. Or at least, the people who’ve been around for a while but still feel like they're just getting their feet wet. We have Patrick John Flueger as Officer Adam Ruzek, who's had more near-death experiences than a cat with nine lives. There's LaRoyce Hawkins as Officer Kevin Atwater, the voice of reason (most of the time). And let's not forget the relatively fresh faces of Benjamin Levy Aguilar as Officer Dante Torres and Amy Morton as Desk Sergeant Trudy Platt, who's basically the glue holding the whole chaotic Intelligence Unit together.
So, What Did We Learn?
Well, for starters, the cast of Chicago PD is pretty solid. They keep us on the edge of our seats, make us laugh (sometimes unintentionally), and occasionally make us question our life choices. But hey, that's what good TV is for, right?
How To...
- How to survive a Chicago winter as a CPD officer? Layer up. A lot.
- How to deal with Voight's questionable methods? Question nothing.
- How to keep your cool in a high-stakes situation? Probably by not being on a police force.
- How to balance a personal life with being a cop? Therapy. Lots of therapy.
- How to watch Chicago PD without getting emotionally invested? Good luck with that.
